Antique mahogany caned chair

A very pretty, fully refurbished, antique mahogany chair.

The cane seat is new and has been hand woven by myself. It has been set off against a new, lightly distressed, paint job in Navy from Cornish Mineral Milk Paint, finished with a dark wax. The lovely mahogany has been newly french polished to show off the wood grain.

A very versatile little chair that would look great anywhere in the home. Perfect for extra guests or simply as a 'chairdrobe' as we all need someone for those clothes too clean for the wash but too dirty for the wardrobe.
