Antique Solid Oak Chest of Drawers

A fully refurbished solid oak, handmade, vintage chest of drawers. Even the drawers bases are solid.

All of the bare oak surfaces have been refinished with a matte finish hard wax oil. The lower two drawers and side panels have been painted in a hard wearing 'midnight blue' acrylic paint.

Each of the three drawers features a working lock, all operated with the same key, along with new brass keyhole threads. The top drawer has also been lined with a tropical print paper and sealed with a satin varnish to complement the outside.

This is an impressive and heavy piece of furniture that will last for many years to come.

This is a genuine upcycled vintage item that has had a busy previous life and it may have minor imperfections relative to it's age. As it has been lovingly restored and refinished by hand you should expect a high-quality craftsman's finish rather than a machine/factory finish. We have given it lots of love and attention and it's now ready for a new home.
